12.11.2018   The HPS Team Managed to Escape!

Last week the HPS Team showed its qualities and logical thinking when its members had to escape from a mysterious cellar located right in the historic centre of Prague. The team decided to undergo a test of their abilities and teamwork. They agreed to experience an escape game within company´s teambuilding. Everyone had to use almost all senses. They had to find several hidden rooms and solve a large number of mysterious and tricky tasks. The team members had only 77 minutes to escape and they managed it! The atmosphere of an ancient occult was such an interesting diversion. We cannot wait to repeat it!

29.10.2018   A Big Event in Brno

The month of October was extremely busy, but the HPS-Team was prepared to make every event as smooth and unforgettable as possible. The last October event took place at BVV Exhibition Center in Brno. Brno is located in the Moravian region and is the second largest city in the Czech Republic.

The HPS Team was in charge of overseeing all conference visitors’ accommodation, dealing with logistic partners and on-site assistance. The event had more than 1 500 registered attendees from the Czech Republic, the Slovak Republic, Poland, Hungary and the United Kingdom.  On site our team members manned the registration desks where they were providing information about the conference, accommodation and transfers. They made sure that every single visitor had a comfortable place to stay, detailed information about all the activities and the schedule of the event, and their transfers in Brno and transport back home. 

Autumn is the peak season for the company but even though October was extremely busy and challenging for the whole team, everybody worked hard and made even the most challenging and stressful days completely problem free. After a relaxing weekend we are back full of energy and we are looking forward to the next event in Prague!

23.10.2018   Unstoppable October Ride

Last week the HPS Team had the privilege again to assist to a couple of medical conferences. This time they took place in hotel Hilton Prague and Clarion Congress Hotel Prague and we had a chance to cooperate with our lovely U.S. Partner again.

Both hotels offer not only a wide range of conference and meeting rooms but also lovely atmosphere for events of various sizes and topics. Hilton hotel is a beautiful reliable classic which never fails. Their staff is incredible and always very helpful. Clarion Congress Hotel surprised us with its very modern interior, clean and fresh entrance, perfect design and location of hospitality desk which was extremely helpful for our arriving delegates. Such a great admiration belongs to the unique moss decorations in the hotel which simply blown us away with its green freshness and beauty.

The HPS Team was in charge of logistic and on-site assistance. Our transfer coordinators were dealing with arriving attendees right at the airport. The team was ready to pick them up and welcome in Prague. The on-site assistance in hotels helped the client with preparation of the conference-set ups, name badges and they were ready to deal with any unexpected situation during the conference. The team members has excellent language skills which enable them to give a hand with any necessary translations. 

To sum up, the first half of October was a great success. The team showed again that they know each other very well and are always well synchronized, organized and ready to work at 100%. They never leave each other in shade and they know what team work means. The month of October certainly does not end with these, we are now looking forward to another big event which is going to take place in Brno. Stay tuned, we will keep you updated!

1.10.2018   Veronika - Introduction

Meet Our Team Member: Veronika, Main Transfer Coordinator

The HPS company was recommended to me by one of my friends. I helped them with organisation directly at the airport and I really enjoyed it. I used to work as a flight attendant a couple years ago and I somehow consider the Prague airport as my second home. I know both terminals very well, so I can estimate how long the process of handling and dispatching luggage will take. I can also recommend our delegates a lot of interesting places around the airport and in the centre of Prague, too.

I spent one semester studying at the Kansas State University in the United States. I studied subjects mainly connected to marketing area, but I also attended seminars about organising conferences and events. During my studies, I also worked in HR Agency, where I learned how to communicate with people and deal with unexpected situations.

This work allows me to communicate with foreign clients and meet delegates from various interesting places, which help me to practice foreign languages. I had never imagined that my work could be so enriching and that I would have met such great colleagues.

When it comes to the key content of my work, I am in charge of running the airport pick ups. I make sure that every transfer coordinator is well informed about the whole process before the actual event. They have to know what to do even in unexpected situations. I am also in charge of negotiating with our logistic partners. I take care that every delegate gets their pick up on time. I am also involved in delegate’s departure process.

I would describe myself as a reliable and self-confident woman who always pursues her goals. I always try to be positive and I want the same from other people in the team, because everything goes much better with good mood. I follow the motto: „Better ooops than what if.“

I like travelling, spending time with my friends and learning new things. I used to play volleyball for fifteen years, so I consider sport as one of my favourite activities to do in my free time.
